Ponos

Support

Answers to what people actually ask.

Nothing here fixes it? Write to lukibenitezl@gmail.com. It is one person answering, so give it a day or two — and if something is broken, say which iPhone and which iOS version, because that is almost always the difference.

Account

How do I delete my account?

Settings › Account › Delete account, inside the app. It removes everything from the servers and wipes the copy on your phone, immediately. You do not need to ask anyone, and there is nothing to wait for.

How do I sign in on a new phone?

Sign in with Apple, with the same Apple Account. Everything comes back from the server on its own — you do not have to export or import anything.

Subscription

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled from iOS: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Ponos › Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your Ponos account does not cancel the subscription.

I paid, but the app says I have to subscribe

Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases. That asks Apple directly what you own, and it is the fix after a new phone or a reinstall. Check that you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with.

What happens when the free week ends?

Nothing is deleted, ever. Ponos becomes read-only: everything you logged is still there to read, you just cannot add anything new until you subscribe.

How do I ask for a refund?

Refunds are Apple's, not mine — go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

Health and data

My steps do not show up

Ponos asks for Health permission only when you turn the feature on. If you said no, iOS never asks again from inside the app — you have to grant it in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Ponos. You can also just type the number in by hand.

Are my iPhone and my Apple Watch steps counted twice?

No. Apple Health resolves the overlap between your devices and hands over a single number, which is the one Ponos shows.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Everything you log is written to your phone first and sent up when there is a connection. Signing in for the first time is the only thing that needs the network.

What can my friends see?

Your training — sessions, exercises and the streak — and only if you added them. Your nutrition, body weight, measurements and health data are never shared with anyone. The details are in the privacy policy.

Soporte
